This luxurious hotel enjoys an attractive architectural design, bathing guests in elegance and charm. The guest rooms are superbly designed, offering a cocoon of peace and serenity in which to completely unwind at the end of the day. The hotel features a seemingly boundless array of exemplary facilities and services, meeting the needs of even the most discerning traveller. Children up to age 14 can use the swimming pool, accompanied by an adult, during the hours of 08:00 -11:00 and 15:00 - 18:00. These times may vary during school holidays
Dining
The Vellore Restaurant
Once a ballroom, this majestic space houses the award-winning Vellore restaurant. Traditional and elegant in its décor it provides a great place to sample the fine dining on offer. With a canopied terrace, it is also possible to dine outside. A double AA Rosette winner, it offers traditional and contemporary English fare, with an emphasis on fine seasonal ingredients.
There is an extensive wine list to accompany the menu and service is of the utmost charm and elegance. Get dressed up and enjoy a feast, safe in the knowledge you only need to stumble back to your room.
Accommodation
With 131 elegant rooms, the hotel offers three categories of room and an additional three suite types. Some of the suites occupy a separate, recently refurbished wing, with their own private access through the courtyard garden. Suites also offer four poster beds and roll top baths for extra luxury. All rooms are airy and spacious with generous Georgian proportions.
The en suite marble bathrooms come supplied with complimentary Elemis toiletries. Flat screen satellite televisions are installed in each room. Many of the rooms enjoy wonderful views over Bath whilst others have stunning garden views. The hotel offers a range of accessible rooms and family rooms.

- The luxury spa retreat is one of the finest in Bath. With its outdoor hydrotherapy pool, you can enjoy the restorative waters whatever the weather. The thermal suite offers a heat and ice journey through a sauna, a steam bath and a cold plunge pool. The spa centre is truly one of complete wellness and the hotel has partnered with Jenny Young – Beauty Despite Cancer, to offer tailor made treatments to those who are living with or recovering from cancer. Elemis treatments can be swapped for Jennifer Young treatments to aid your recovery. A relaxing sanctuary where you can unwind with family or friends and get the ultimate pampering sessions to restore body, mind and soul.

We had such a great time here. Got the morning revival spa package on the 10th of December and was amazing.Outside therapy pool was great, the massage was one of the best I've had.The service from everyone was incredible so thank you.Finally the food topped off with a glass of wine made for a fantastic Friday in Bath.Thank you all.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful location within Bath. Great that we could park before check in time which allowed us to take the 15 to 20 minute walk into the centre of Bath along some of its lovely streets. Having spent a leisurely few hours in Bath we strolled back to the hotel (is up hill). On arrival we were able to check in immediately. Our room was beautiful with the highest ceilings I have ever seen. The room had everything we needed and a spacious bathroom. All was very clean. We did not dine at the hotel or use the spa facilities so cannot comment on these. Bed was very comfortable and our Breakfast was lovely, staff all so attentive. We were able to leave our car in the car park beyond check out time which allowed us to extend our time in Bath.

Only spent one night and day here but needed longer. The loveliest hotel with very attentive staff. So friendly and welcoming. The spa is just the best Ive been too and the best massage myself and my partner have ever had ! The heated massage beds are just the most relaxing way to have a massage. Brilliant thank you x

Great place for a spa break, the facilities were really good. Got to use the swimming pool, outdoor heated pool, multiple saunas and steam rooms, and even braved the ice room! Also dined and had breakfast in the restaurant, all highly recommended!

Stayed with a friend for a spa break which we booked via spa breaks.com. We got dinner, a stay, massage and breakfast. The building is so beautiful and our room was lovely. Staff were really attentive and kind and we felt really looked after. Has a really luxury feel to it, perfect for a relaxing break. The grounds are pretty too. Walking distance into bath. Would love to stay again.
